WSBA was formed in 2002. Since then, members have enjoyed fellowship along with friendly competition, fishing mainly the lakes and rivers throughout Illinois, southeastern Wisconsin, and occasionally surrounding states for big tournaments. We have anglers of all skill levels and abilities.  We pride ourselves on helping each other and our surrounding communities enjoy the great sport of bass fishing.

We fish 10 tournaments a year ending with the Club Classic. Our club format consists of 2 divisions - boater and non-boater draw tournaments.  Anglers accumulate points competing for the title of "Angler of the Year". As a member of the Illinois Bass Federation Nation, we also qualify and send teams to the 6-man State Qualifier tournament, with a chance to make it to the Northern Divisional tournament, the Bass Federation National Championship and ultimately, the Bassmaster Classic.
